Sports economist, Z-Health® Master Trainer, Head of the German Neuroacademy, author, speaker and coach

"Only those who understand the nervous system can achieve the best possible results in training and therapy. Neurotraining is not a trend – it is the basis for sustainable performance and quality of life."

About Andreas Könings

Andreas Könings is one of Europe's leading experts in neurocentric training. As one of the first neurotrainers in the German-speaking world, he played a key role in establishing this innovative approach in training and therapy.

After studying sports economics and working in competitive sports, he specialised early on in the interface between the brain and movement, partly due to his own injuries.

As a Z-Health® Master Trainer, Andreas now has over 15 years of international experience working with top athletes, pain patients, trainers and therapists.

Since 2017, he has been the technical director of the German Neuro Academy, which was one of the first providers of German-language neuro training and has since developed into a renowned and comprehensive training institution for healthcare providers in the field of neurotraining. In 2021, Andreas took over the academy completely and has been running it as director and co-owner ever since.

He shares his knowledge with the general public through various channels, thereby playing a decisive role in the dissemination and application of neurotraining. In addition to publishing several specialist books and articles, he also gives presentations at trade fairs and conferences and runs the leading German-language YouTube channel for neurotraining. Through his work on the advisory board of a renowned therapy journal, he actively supports the further development of modern training and therapy concepts.

In his daily work, Andreas combines scientific findings with practical application. Together with ARTZT, he pursues the goal of making neurotraining effective and accessible to different target groups through high-quality tools and understandable concepts. His credo: Training re(neuro)thought.
