No. Calm Down was deliberately not designed as a sleep aid. It contains no melatonin or sedating ingredients. The approach is different: Calm Down is intended to help you become calmer and more relaxed in everyday life because the nutrient stores that your body taps into during stress are permanently better replenished. Focused calm instead of sedation. A separate sleep product is planned for a later date.

Magnesium taurate is magnesium bound to the amino acid taurine. This bond makes the magnesium particularly well-tolerated and is considered a particularly high-quality magnesium compound. Many cheaper products use magnesium oxide - where both the form and often the dosage make a difference. Calm Down relies 100% on magnesium taurate with 1,000 mg per sachet.⁶

These four amino acids are typically used in high-quality calm and recovery products. L-Theanine and L-Glycine are often associated with relaxation. Adaptogens are plant-based substances like Ashwagandha or Rhodiola, which are attributed with stress-regulating effects. Many Calm products rely on them. Instead, Calm Down uses magnesium taurate and folate with approved EU Health Claims, plus four accompanying amino acids.
