Keep an eye on your progress with the discrimination tool
In orthopedics and occupational therapy, the 2-point discrimination ability plays a central role. This measurement records your surface sensitivity – that is, the sensitivity and perceptive ability of your skin. It can be affected by misalignments, accidents or procedures.
With the ARTZT neuro discrimination tool, you can test your tactile sensitivity using five clearly defined measuring points. This not only makes your therapy progress measurable, but also comprehensible.
Traditionally, a Greulich star is often used for this measurement. However, we use a rectangular shape that makes it easier to use. You place the measuring points precisely and apply the correct pressure – intuitively.
The five measuring points come in a double pack and at different distances. This way, you can see at a glance how high or low your tactile sensitivity is, without having to adjust anything yourself.
Ideal for therapy and at home
Do you want to measure the surface sensitivity of your patients? The discrimination tool is perfect for this. The stainless steel can be quickly and thoroughly cleaned with conventional disinfectants. The measuring points ensure a precise measurement without damaging the sensitive parchment skin of older patients.
The robust material ensures a pleasant feeling during the measurement and does not leave scratches or bruises. The results are easy to read thanks to the large numbers printed on the edge. The discrimination tool from ARTZT neuro offers you everything you need for precise measurement. The fixed measuring points eliminate the need for your own settings and guarantee intuitive handling – even for laymen.
