Wanja Johannes Litvinow
Wanja currently works as an athletic trainer in the youth section of RB Leipzig and is the main teacher and coordinator for the International Coaching Course at the Faculty of Sports Science in Leipzig. His focus is on football, athletic training and training science.
Until the summer of 2024, he also worked as an athletics coach for the German WU16/17 national team at the DFB. There he integrated the neurocentric approach into the specific athletic training and regularly led workshops in the association. A special highlight of this time was winning the 2022 European Championship in Bosnia and participating in the World Championship in India.
Before that, Wanja worked as an athletic trainer for RB Leipzig's first women's team for almost four years. In addition to the classic tasks in athletic training, he was also responsible for rehabilitation and diagnostics. It was already during this phase that he began to incorporate the neurocentric approach into training.
In 2023, he founded his company Neuromeets, which specializes in performance training, prevention and rehabilitation from a neurocentric perspective. Today, he works closely with athletes from RB Leipzig as well as squad athletes supported by the Saxony Olympic Training Center. The sports he supports include canoeing, wrestling and athletics.
